Sheffield United are reportedly ready to launch a £10m bid to sign Norwich City midfielder, Todd Cantwell, according to news from the Daily Star today.
Cantwell has been one of the shining lights in another wise dissapointing season for the Canaries, who all but saw their hopes of survival ended with a defeat at Watford last night.
Relegation for Norwich is reportedly set to cost them. A number of sources claimed yesterday that wages will be slashed if they go down, leading to a number of players being sold on too, although that should ahrdly come as a surprise to norwich fans.
And it looks like midfielder Cantwell is going to be one of those players. Cantwell, along with the likes of Max Aarons, Ben Godfrey, and Jamal Lewis, is among a group of young footballers at Carrow Road who are highly thought of within the game.
22-year-old midfielder Cantwell has scored six times this season for Daniel Farke’s men, adding a further two assists. His attacking runs from deep and willingness to get into the box make him an ideal signing for clubs looking to add a threat from midfield.
