The latest transfer rumour that is doing the rounds today following his good showing against Arsenal last week, and yesterday's defeat effectively sealing our relegation is that Mark Hughes wants to take Nathan Redmond to Stoke City in the summer as he tries to add much needed pace to his attacking lineup for next season.
Redmond has just one year left on his contract after joining Norwich in the summer of 2013 on a 4 year deal and has already suffered one relegation in his time with the club. He was an integral part of last season's promotion run and at 22 years old seems likely to want to stay in the top flight.
Hughes tried to sign Redmond three years ago but has a much greater chance of managing it this time around, with relegation for the Canaries almost a certainty, and Stoke not being afraid to splash the cash on what they feel are well targeted acquisitions.
Any sale would mean a sell on windfall for former club Birmingham City for a player who has made just over 100 appearances for Norwich and scored 10 goals in the process
