Transfer Rumour: Stoke Seal The £10m Deal For Nathan Redmond

Stoke have seemingly won the race to sign Norwich's England starlet Nathan Redmond, but the deal is apparently being held up while Norwich City sort out their boardroom issues after chief executive David McNally suddenly quit following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

Attacking ace Redmond starred as England Under-21s won the Toulon Tournament, he also scored six Premier League goals for the Canaries this term but rejected a new contract offer at Carrow Road.

The 22-year-old has just 12 months left and Norwich are now resigned to cashing in on the £10million-rated winger, with his old club Birmingham getting 15 per cent of the profit on the sale under the terms of his £3.2million transfer in July 2013.

Originally from the West Midlands, Redmond is best pals with Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland and wants to move back to the area meaning he favoured the Stoke deal over interest from Swansea and Southampton.
