Two Out On Loan Deadline Day

Norwich City have today on the dealine day for emergency loans in the football league sent two players out on loan

Kyle Lafferty has joined Birmingham City on loan until the end of the season, although with this deal the club do have a recall option after 28 days.

Enniskillen-born Lafferty, 28, has had less than an hour's first-team action for the Canaries this season, having made just three substitute appearances.

He has played more times for his country than his club this campaign, having won four caps and scored in two successive games in September to help his side make it to Euro 2016 this summer where he is hoping to benefit from the fitness first team football for the rest of the season will hopefully bring.

Fourth choice goal keeper, Norwich youngster Remi Matthews has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season today

The 22-year-old had a loan spell with Burton Albion earlier this season, making six appearances in all competitions, Matthews will be hoping to make his debut for the League One strugglers against bottom side Colchester on Good Friday.

Doncaster are currently 21st in League One, having lost nine of their last 10 matches..
