Norwich supporters hoping for positive fitness news on fan favourite Josh Sargent, will have to wait until matchday. USA International Sargent has returned to training but Norwich Head Coach Pulippe Clement indicated it will be a late call one way or the other in his pre-match press conference
Summer signing Mathias Kvistgaarden continues to be assessed after he featured from the bench as a late substitute against the Saints. The Dane saw a knee specialist the previous week following pain in the same knee that sidelined him at Coventry back in September.
Clement suggested Kvistgaarden's training load is being monitored, with a longer term plan to build up the area around the knee to strengthen the leg.
Jack Stacey and Lucien Mahovo have returned to training over the past week and are available after hamstring and quad issues respectively.
Fit-again duo Shane Duffy and Liam Gibbs did a running session as part of the warm up against Southampton but were not part of the matchday squad.
Clement also delivered an upbeat bulletin on winger Diallo, who is now in light running and on target to re-join the first team group in two weeks.
