Norwich are being linked with a move to sign Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford as doubts continue to surround his future at Stamford Bridge.
Bamford spent the second half of the season on loan with the Canaries, and although he failed to keep the club in the Premier League, there is a chance he could be back on board next season.
The young striker struggled with injury during his time at Carrow Road, reducing him to just two starts, as Norwich battled to beat the drop, but Canaries boss Alex Neil would reportedly could consider bringing him back again.
Bamford has struggled to make the grade at Chelsea, and with new Blues boss Antonio Conte set to spend big this summer, his chances appear to be limited still in West London with reports circulating that Chelsea are happy to let him go on a permanent basis and Neil could see him as the ideal player to help fire Norwich back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Bamford scored goals for fun during a loan spell with Middlesbrough two seasons ago, and a similar return with Norwich would have them pushing for the title.
