Done Deal: Norwich Confirm Signing Of £2.6m Attacker Mohamed Toure

Norwich City have confirmed the signing of Australian International striker Mohamed Toure from the Danish club Randers on a four-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee, which is thought to be about £2.6m.

The Australia international has scored 11 goals in 39 league appearances for Randers during his time there after signing for them in the summer window of 2024.

He is Norwich City's fourth signing of a busy so far transfer window for the East Anglian outfit following winger Ali Ahmed from Toronto FC, midfielder Paris Maghoma from Brentford and left-back Harry Amass - the latter on loan from Manchester United.

"I've known the club for a very long time and I'm excited to get started. I'm here to learn and develop, and I've heard that Philippe Clement has had a big influence on the players and has brought out the best in them," he said., external

"It's an environment I want to be in and I want to improve under him. I love to work hard - every time I'm on the pitch, I try my best for the badge."

Toure began his career with Adelaide United before heading to Europe to sign for French club Reims in 2023.

He was sent on as a late substitute when Australia played England at Wembley in October of that year, losing the game 1-0 to an Ollie Watkins goal.
