Done Deal: Randers attacker Mohamed Toure having Norwich Medical

According to reports from Danish Media outlet Tipsbladet, Norwich City have reached agreement with Randers on a £3.4m deal for their Australian attacker Mohamed Toure. The Australian international is now set to travel to England for a medical on Saturday to complete the deal.

Danish outlet Tipsbladet confirmed late on Friday night that the two clubs had managed to reach an agreement for the 21-year-old, who was left out of the Danish Super Liga club's warm up match at the end of the winter break earlier in the evening against Rosenborg in Portgual.

Norwich City had switched their focus to Toure in recent days after tracking Bodo/Glimt forward Kasper Høgh for a period, however his recent goal scoring actions in the Chalmpions League had made that deal much harder to complete with a number of other clubs reported to have been circling for the player also.

As first reported by Danish outlet Bold , Toure was one of three options City were actively exploring to bolster Philippe Clement's squad ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.

The pacy forward player was initially expected to feature for Randers in their Atlantic Cup tune up ahead of the mid-winter break return, but left out with negotiations at an advanced stage with City officials.

Toure moved to French side Reims in July 2022, working under former Southampton boss Will Still. He netted eight times in 15 matches for their second side before moving to Paris FC on loan.

A move to Denmark followed in July 2025 with Randers signing him for €250k. Toure has scored 12 goals and recorded nine assists in the 48 appearances.

An Australian international, Toure has made eight appearances for his country, netting twice. His international debut came at Wembley against England, when he came off the bench for the final exchanges of a 1-0 friendly defeat back in October 2023.
