Transfer Rumour: Ipswich & Wrexham Join Race For Norwich Target Kasper Høgh

Norwich City's pursuit of Danish striker Kasper Høgh looks to be at risk of hijacking with two other Championship clubs looking to enter the race according to reports from Football League World .

Nocrwich, who are undergoing a dramatic upturn in form under Philippe Clement since his appointment, have been looking to sign a new number nine since Josh Sargent's future at Carrow Road became unclear with the USA international declining to play in the club's FA Cup Round 3 fixture, and looking for a move back across the Atlantic to MLS franchise Toronto FC.

An €8 million (£6.9 million) bid was submitted earlier in the week by The Canaries to Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt , according to Fabrizio Romano.  This came before his match-winning goal in the UEFA Champions League fixture for the club away at Atletico Madrid.  The move looks like it could now get hijacked by another Championship club.

Scottish champions Celtic have also been lurking in regards to 25-year-old Høgh, but there is even more interest from EFL clubs in the striker's services, having scored 17 Eliteserien goals in 2025 for Bodø as well as his goals in the Champions League.

Football League World reports that Ipswich Town who are Norwich City's long standing East Anglian rivals are also now potentially in the mix for the signingof Høgh as they search for their own striker to add to their squad.  Ipswich have already been reported to have eyed up Sam Surridge of Nashville and Leeds United's Joel Piroe earlier in this transfer window.

Also interested in Høgh is none other than Wrexham who recently lost at home 1-2 to the Canaries, with the ambitious North Wales outfit targeting a fourth consecutive promotion from the National League to the Premier League.

Phil Parkinson's teamare currently well-positioned for a play-off push, but are looking for another body in attack to try and push them over the line.
