It was reported on January 20 by Mike McGrath that Norwich had submitted an offer for prolific Bodø/Glimt striker Kasper Høgh, who has so far scored 17 times in the 2025 Eliteserien season for his club. However that offer came right before a match-winning brace against Man City in the UEFA Champions League which thrust him into the spotlight.
Since then, Scottish giants Celtic have emerged as serious rivals for the 25-year-old's signature, with Pete O'Rourke confirming their interest this week, but it looks like Norwich City have in the mean time submitted another offer to try and get ahead in the racer to sign the sought after Danish striker.
As claimed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a fresh offer has landed at Bodø/Glimt's door from The Canaries for €8 million (£6.94 million), with the offer also including add-ons for the prolific 6ft 1in front man.
From all the reports The Canaries appear to be very keen to bring Høgh to Carrow Road, despite the prolific season that summer signing Jovon Makama is having after arriving from Lincoln City last year. Should they succeed in persuading the Dane to move to England, it seems likely it will enable the club to bring an end to the dirty saga that is Josh Sargent's desire to leave.
