With it being a slow news day for Norwich City today (as it has been for a few days really) an article from a couple of weeks ago has just caught my eye on one of out former players...
It seems even at the age of 38 Jamie managed a return of 11 goals in 24 games last season for Cheltenham Town in League Two - although that wasn't enough to get him a new contract, however the press in the south west are now reporting he remains a wanted man with Brtistol Rovers keen on taking him back following their relegation to the conference, and Torquay still interested in him too.
In a varied career that now spans 20 years and has certainly had its up and downs over time, not just whilst at Norwich but other clubs too, Cureton has now ammassed an impressive 253 league goals
Certainly proves what you can do if you are lucky enough to stay fit!
And whilst on the subject of former players - congratulations to Ian Henderson on signing his contract extension at Rochdale last week which keeps him with the club until 2016
