Astounding Selection

Team News   Ruddy Whittaker Martin Bassong Olsson Tettey Johnson Bennett Redmond Hoolahan Grabban   Either this is a master stroke or he has lost the plot, both Hooper and Jerome dropped, they were not the only ones to put in a bad shift last week.  These two are by far the best pairing we have the at the club. If thise works he will [...]

Lafferty Subject of Twitter Gossip

According to some gossip on Twitter looks as if the Turkish club Caykur Rizespor,  are close to signing Kyle Lafferty. We realise that this could be nothing more than flyin BS,  but there you have what we have heard   it looks exactly like flyin BS was correct on this one

Dan Potts Rumour

We have heard a rumour that we have shown an interest in West Ham's full back Dan Potts. A fringe player, just 20 years old  but highly thought of; described as a versatile and composed defender blessed with great ability, Whther this is a loan or full time signing  we were not informed,  Blackpool are said to be showing interest [...]

Midfield Problems Again

So the midfield is looking like it will be a problem again with O'Neil-Broken Toe, Odjidja-Ofoe-Knee, Tettey-Groin and Howson-last suspended game.  Leaving Johnson, Bennett, Hoolahan, McGrandles.    Elliot Bennett has played defensive before and did an excellent job, how be it full back,    He could play along [...]

Hoolveld Goes to Millwall

As we suggested in an earlier post that Hoolveld was to be releashed, this has now come about with City agreeing to cut shot his loan deal at Carrow Road , so that he could join fellow Championship side Millwall; with parent club Southampton also agreeing.  Hoolveld will be taking the number 5 shirt at the New Den.after watching Millwall this [...]

The Consistent Inconsistency Continues

I hope I can be forgiven for expecting to see a difference in my team, only a small change would have satisfied me, after all Neil had been working his squad for a full week.  But what we saw was more or less carbon copy of City's failing pre Alex Neil. They were so weak you could push a feather duster right through the centre and not find [...]

Hoolveld released Rumour

We have hearing that Jos Hoolveld is free to return to parent club or find another home. It was reported the other day that Millwall were interested in taking the defender on loan and that  the three clubs were talking about this possibility

Phelan Leaves

Just when you relax and think things are settling down, bang!, up pops another surprise,  or was this one a surpise ? I expected Mike Phelan to leave at some point,  with Frankie McAvoy soon set to start his journey southwards, to me there never looked like there was going to be room for all,  Neil, Phelan, Holt and McAvoy, the dug o [...]

Olsson Asked to Leave

According to reports Martin Olsson has asked to leave the club this window, with Swansea supposed to have offered £4 million, while recieving an offer of £4.5 million from Palace for their full back Neil Taylor. If Olsson wants to leave and I would suggest we don't have this much info and reports without some substance to it. & [...]

Jekyll and Hyde are Still in the Building

If Alex Neil had any doubts about how his side can perform he saw first hand on saturday, excellent for an hour, then go to sleep, nearly clutching a draw from the jaws of victory.  I do wonder if the old City had been playing whether they would have rolled over completely allowing Cardiff to go away with a point they really didn't deserve [...]

Loza on Loan and Swansea Interest in Olsson

Swansea City manager Garry Monk is interested in City left back Martin Olsson. Apparently Swansea  have seen their initial overtures rebuffed by the Canaries, but the Welsh club are planning to press ahead with their interest. Mean while Jamar Loza has joined League One side Yeovil Town on an initial one-month loan deal.

Robert Huth

City are said to be among championship clubs Reading and Fulham looking to take Stoke's Robert Huth on loan,  appearing to be out of favour with Mark Hughes.  Huth has not started a premier league this season and his future at Stoke is a serious doubt after the signing of Bayer Leverkusen defender Phiipp Wollscheid last week,

Build On that

What can you say,  there is just so much to sing the praises of,   but lets not forget these are the same players that Neil Adams had, the ones that had looked ordinary and below average at times lately. Whether it was new manager syndrome or something else, whatever it was down to,  they all deserve huge credit, it was not just [...]

Welcome To Norfolk

We wondered what would have to City's current backroom staff of Phelan,Holt and Parkes , but Alex Neil says he intends to keep the trio and add his Hamilton assistant, Frankie McAvoy, to the mix. All that is left to do is to congratulate the City Board for thinking out of the usual suspects box by appointing a new, hungry manager, that hopefull [...]

Alex Neil Said to be in Talks

According to reports North of the border  Alex Neil has flown south for talks with City.  BBC Scotland and the following http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hamilton-boss-alex-neil-jets-4934637

Alex Neil

I see the usual suspects are listed in most bookies odd for the vacant hot seat at Carrow Road but one name which I knew little about has started to appear with his odds shortening.  Alex Neil.   So I thought I had better take a look.   Neill  is the player/manager of Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical. After man [...]

Players Are to Blame as Well

I have laid bame at the door of Neil Adams, the Boardroom door and in some apects the players, it is those who I feel have not only let themselves down, leading many fans think they are journeymen  and ex premiership no hope strugglers. Simon Grayson summed up his players after saturday's game, it should be noted he had made 5-6 changes hi [...]

Neil Adams Does the Right Thing, Now the Board Needs to

I do not know or really care what has gone on behind the scene,  Neil Adams has done the right thing in walking away, hopefully still a great city player in the eys of the supporters, , he had a go and it looked as if he would make a success of it; But managing a club on which so much expection is placed, must place an enormous amount of press [...]

Have We Not Been Here Before

Looking at the current plight of our beloved club I cannot help thing this is reminiscent of what happened a few short seasons ago. City legend Bryan Gunn made a pitch for the hot seat assembled his back room team and won, failing to keep the club afloat in the Championship after many games,  Yet he was still given post to carry on in the job [...]

Something is Badly Wrong at City.

Am I surprised about losing to a lower league side in the FA Cup  absolutely not....., am I angry about it?  Bloody right I am. A caller on on Canary Call stated some stats that 19 times we have now been knocked out of both cups  since 1995.  It is a disgusting fact of how this club has sunk   It as usual,  the manner [...]

Where needs strengthening ?

We have covered players we think may be hunting for new pastures,   City have supposedly having the best squad in the League,  something I have not adhered to , as the season so far backs up.But there are some positions where that bit extra is needed. One area is right back, Whittaker has had a couple of decent games scoring two vita [...]

So who is likely to be on the move At Norwich then

So the transfer window is open and I can see like many fans i'm sure a bit of tidying up being done 1.  Bassong - Clearly never going to play for us again, I'd expect him to move on, either with his loan being extended, or perhaps to join up with his old friend Hoots at Brighton 2.  Bunn - Apparently back fit but seemingly now 3rd [...]

Hamper Scam

If anyone doubts footballers are paid too much money the next little story proves that and that many not be the sharpest points in the needle pack. Get this a man turns up at West Ham's training ground, and offers Fortnum & Mason hampers and Harrods champers.at cheaper rates.  Big Sam and Andy Carroll shelled out £11k   [...]
