Closer to Edge of the Dog Fight after Wigan Defeat

A very scrappy game which failed to even get close to making a spark, the one one real shot on target went in, Lee Camp will be feeling a little down about it, he really should have saved that. Keepers should very rarely be beaten on the near post, but in saying that, there was enough time and space for challenges to have been made and fancy flic [...]

Jackson Staying Put ... No Trip to the Seaside

Brighton's attempts to land  Simeon Jackson on loan before today's 5pm deadline look to have been thwarted.  Hughton said  that no players will be leaving,   I take it that is including Jackson.

Lambert Wants Russell Martin ..Paper Talk ?

Just how much of this is paper talk and how much holds water,  The Mirror says: that Russell Martin is wanted by old boss Paul Lambert at Villa and Simeon Jackson is set to sign on loan for Brighton. The Jackson loan deal has been covered in many places including on here and Brighton's local paper, so that doesn't take a lot of ins [...]

Diakite To Napoli Not Norwich

Lazio defender Modibo Diakite is close to joining Napoli - contrary to reports that have linked him with a summer move to Norwich. The 26-year-old Frenchman was said to be on his way to Norfolk, according to one national newspaper, after City beat Liverpool to a deal for his services but that was quickly denied by the club. Now Ulisse Savini, [...]

Diakite & Van Ginkel

The good old Sun has us beating Liverpool to the signing of Lazio's Modibo Diakite, if you were like me, not knowing too much about him I went to Wiki. To save posting a seemingluy endless amount of blurb, I satisfy myself with. Diakité plays as a central defender and is a good reader of the play as well as having a strong physical p [...]

Both Russell Martin and Robert Snodgrass will miss Scotland's next World Cup quailifer, Snodgrass because he was sent off in his Country's defeat to Wales and Martin because of injury.   I haven't found out exactly what the injury is, just hope it isn't too serious to effect the rest of the premier league season

A further statement on the clubs official site reads. NORWICH City can confirm that a deal has been agreed [...]

Wolfswinkel - Not A Done Deal Yet !

The deal to bring Ricky Van Wolfswinkel to Carrow Road has still some distance to go - talks are reported to be continuing, while the clubs have agreed a fee there is still the player's personal terms to be thrashed out. We know Lisbon are short of money  having not been able to pay all of their staff wages for some time, it is suggest [...]

Weimann Interesting Hughton

The mail online this morning has an interesting article one I would like very much to see come off.   According to them City are more than interested in signing Andreas Weimann, whose talks about a new deal with Aston Villa have stalled. There is some milage to go before we see this happen, a few things will have to be sorted, if Vill [...]

Bunn Appeal Rejected

City fans need no reminding Bunn's sending off, the club had appealed the decision of referee Chris Foy to show the keeper a straight red, but an independent regulatory commission appointed by the FA upheld the original decision. Bunn, will now miss the Premier League clash with Wigan after the international break.

Grigg and Burke in Hughton's Radar

According to the Mirror, City are joined by Southampton  as  being interested in Walsall striker Will Grigg,  who is out of contract in the summer.  City are also said to have lined up a move for Birmingham's Chris Burke.

Officials Take the Limelight Again

A massive hard earned point, a first class effort. A game that was over shadowed by 3 very dubious decision by the officials, first the Bunn sending off,  the ball clearly hit Bunn in the lower chest and hit the underside of his arm. How any advantage could be attained by that I have no idea, how that can even be classed as deliberate again [...]

Good Luck to Korey Smith who has joined Oldham on a month's loan. He is yet to play for the Canaries this season and will relish the opportunity to get some competitive minutes under his belt. A lad I like as he has some fight and passion about him....Good Luck Korey

Wolfswinkel Crops Up Again

A little early for any serious transfer rumours, but this one continues to circulate around the internet, just how much stock we can put into right now I am unsure. Probably more a case of this latest rumour having more to do with the January interest shown by City. Talksport reported yesterday that City are going to make a £10 mill offer [...]

Another Point ..After More of The Same

While yesterday's game was another one to forget, it was another point towards safety,  I could sit and go on about the players struggled throughout the game,  how 3 efforts at the goal, is a paltry amount,  how Snodgras and Holt should have scored. How the players look almost scared to set foot out of thier own half at times.. [...]

It's Only Man U ...

Does everywhere seems a little quiet today, even the City feed on Newsnow are full of Man Utd sites postings, Lets be honest, were we going to really get anything from this fixture ?   We may have got a little lucky and caught them with more minds on Tuesday and Sir Alex resting over half his team.  We could have been really up f [...]
