Sean Dyche is the early favourite to replace Dean Smith in the next Norwich manager odds market.
Following the dismissal of Dean Smith by Norwich City, the Canaries are looking at Sean Dyche to replace the 51-year-old and guide the club back into the Premier League.
After a 2-1 defeat to Luton Town, Norwich currently sit in 5th place in the Championship. Their next fixture will be Reading at home this Friday and the club will be looking to get someone in quickly with games coming quick and fast in the Championship.
So, who are the early favourites to become the next Norwich permanent manager?
Sean Dyche
Sean Dyche is still jobless with his name linked with a host of different jobs since leaving Burnley last season. Dyche has vast experience in the Championship as a player and manager, as a manager he guide Burnley to the Premier League twice and it would be some appointment if Norwich was able to get him. He is currently the best price of 4/1 to join Carrow Road.
Chris Wilder
Chris Wilder left Middlesbrough on October 3rd but is already linked with a swift return into management with the 55-year-old now a best price 5/1 to replace Smith. Wilder knows how to get teams promoted to the Premier League, as he did so with Sheffield United in 2019, and Norwich will be keen to keep their promotion chances on track.
Steven Gerrard
Former Aston Villa and Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has been out of work since late October when the 42-year-old was sacked by Aston Villa hierarchy. After having great success at Rangers where he guided them to a Scottish Championship, he had a tough time at Aston Villa and only managed two wins with them this season but can he be the man to guide the Canaries to the Premier League? He is currently the best price of 8/1.
Scott Parker
Scott Parker is also reportedly on the Norwich board wish list with the 42-year-old having vast experience in getting clubs promoted from the Championship. Parker managed to guide Bournemouth and Fulham to promotion and will understand the challenge required should the board look for a more experienced hand. He is currently the best price of 12/1 to join Carrow Road.
