Many sites are now reporting Snodgrass is in talks with Hull, the Pink Un says the the fee for Snoddy lays between £6mill and £8mill. Quite an amount for a player who has only one year left on his City contract. mmmmm
It needs saying that Snodgrass had already made his intentions clear, that he would not extend his contract with City at all, it would seem it would be the same should City gain promotion back to the Premier League. So Snodgrass is clear he wants to leave Norwich City, now or at the end of the current deal, fine for the player, but the club has to act and selling him for the highest amount is the correct way.
As with any player who makes it plain they want to leave I say good bye and thank you, in Snodgrass's case I do not believe all this bull about wanting to get back closer to Scotland, Hull isn't exactly that close to the Border as is Sunderland who also expressed interest in the player. It is more about playing in he Premier League and the riches that go with that, I feel he should express a little thanks to City and their supporters for giving him the opportunity and backing him as Player of the Season..... who knows ? He may still have been playing at Elland Rd.
Thanks and See you very soon
