Further to the earlier article on Callum Wilson, Coventry's in demand striker, sources in Coventry are suggesting that City are the favorites to sign hitman. It would seem that City have joined the ranks of other championship clubs as Reading, Wolves and Bournemouth.
Last week the Sky Blues said they had rebuffed enquires from four Championship clubs with development director Steve Waggott maintaining Wilson is not for sale.
He said: “We have had approaches from four Championship clubs who are keen to secure the services of one of the best young strikers around.
“As it stands we have rebuffed and rejected all offers that have come in.
“We’ve had what I would call four firm enquiries all together, comprising two written bids, one quite firm verbal offer and one indicative enquiry where they have said they are interested.
“They are all Championship clubs, which is to be expected to be honest.”
If there is any truth in this one, I am confident McNally will haul another player into City's net.
